RESIDENTIAL FIRE

St. Germain Township, Vilas County, Wisconsin, May 14, 2007

At 11:50 PM, May 13, 2007, Vilas County Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call
reporting a house fire at 7664 STH 70 east of St. Germain. The owner of the
residence awoke to smoke in the house and called the Sheriff's Department. By
the time first responding fire personnel arrived on scene, the structure was
completely engulfed in flames.

The owner of the home, Adam Schenkenberg, escaped uninjured. The home was a
complete loss. St. Germain Fire Department and Rescue were assisted by Plum
Lake Fire and EMS and the Eagle River Area Fire Department. The cause of the
fire is unknown at this time.

PERSONAL INJURY VEHICULAR ACCIDENT

Delivery truck strikes tree, one injury.

Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. February 14, 2007 -- At approximately 0655
hours this date, a motorist called the Vilas County Sheriff's Department
(VCSD) to report a one vehicle accident.

A Range Beverage delivery truck from Hurley, Wisconsin, left the southbound
lane of USH51 near Island Lake Road and came to a rest after striking
numerous trees. The driver was trapped in the cab of the truck, but
remained concious.

Rescue personnel from The Manitowish Waters and Boulder Junction Fire
Departments were dispatched to the scene, along with an ambulance from
Howard Young Medical center. Firefighters used two sets of hydraulic
rescue tools (jaws of life) to extricate the driver. He was transferred
to Marshfield by the Flight for Life helicopter, which had landed at the
Manitowish Waters Airport.

Joint Drug Investigation and Search Warrant Executions

Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, Vilas County - January 26, 2007

The Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police Department, Wisconsin Department of Justice
Division of Criminal Investigation, Northcentral Drug Enforcement Group Task
Force, Oneida County Sheriff's Department and the Vilas County Sheriff's
Department have been conducting a joint investigation into the distribution of
illicit drugs on the Lac du Flambeau Indian Reservation and the Lakeland area.

Several search warrants were executed this morning as a result of this ongoing
investigation. Several arrests warrants have been issued by the Vilas County
District Attorney's office for defendants involved in the distribution of
illicit drugs.

Investigators are coordinating prosecution efforts with the Vilas County
District Attorney, Oneida County District Attorney and United States Attorney.

Sheriff Niebuhr and Chief Rising Sun commend the officers involved in this
investigation as well as assistance provided by members of the community. Law
enforcement efforts are greatly enhanced when the community provides assistance
and support.

25 arrests were made associated with this investigation. 5 search warrants were
executed on Friday, 01-26-02.

Seized Items:
Approximately 50 grams or powder cocaine
55 bags of crack cocaine (approximately 8.5 grams)
Approximately 16 grams of marijuana
$4145.00 US Currency
(7) firearms seized
(5) vehicles seized
Numerous items of drug paraphernalia (i.e. crack pipes, marijuana pipes, scales)

Snowmobile Accident with one Fatality

Lone snowmobile strikes numerous trees

Saint Germain, Wisconsin. January 27, 2007 at 1355 hours;

The Vilas County Sheriff's Office received a cellular phone call
reporting that a snowmobile accident had occurred on trail #7 (Ewald Lake
Game Trail) and near the intersection trail #70. The reporting party
and atleast three other individuals who were stopped at the
intersection, witnessed the crash.

First Responders from The St. Germain Fire Department were dispatched to
the scene, along with The Plum Lake Ambulance crew. The accident is
being investigated by The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouces, with
assistance from The Vilas County Sheriff's Office and The Vilas County
Coroner's office.

The initial investation indicates that the victim's snowmobile was
headed in a southerly direction on trail 7 at a high rate of speed, when
in collided with several trees just south of the intersection with trail
70. The victim, a 49 year old man from Janesville, Wisconsin, succumbed
to his injuries at the scene.

It is not know if the use of alcohol was a factor in the crash, but it
is believed that unfamilarity with the snowmobile that he was operating
was a contributing factor.

The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.

Deceased is Michael Fisher, formally from Janesville, Wisconsin.

Snowmobile - Fatality

Presque Isle, WI, February 9, 2007

Snowmobile strikes tree, one person dies. Agency Case Number: 07-001429
At approximately 1118 hours this date, the Vilas County Sheriff's Office (VCSD)
received a report of an apparent snowmobile accident. The accident occurred on
the snowmobile trail near the intersection of Pomeroy Lake and Oxbow Roads.
The caller, who came-upon the accident, found a snowmobiler lying on the trail.
The snowmobile had come to a rest on it's side and against a tree nearby. CPR
was initiated, and an ambulance from the Presque Fire Department (PFD)
responded to the scene. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the location
of the crash.

It has not been determined if some type of medical condition occurred prior to
the snowmobile striking a series of small trees, or if the victim died as a
result of the impact.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Wisconsin
Department of Natural Resources (WDNR). However, alcohol is not believed to be
a contributing factor. Assisting at the scene was The VCSD, members of The
PFD, and The Vilas County Coroner.

Deceased is a 66 year old man from Streator, Illinois, who was riding with his
41 year old son-in-law from Downers Grove, Illinois. The two had become
separated just prior to the incident.

The accident remains under investigation.
